Sri Lanka - 06 Nights / 07 Days

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Kandy (via Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage)

  • Arrive in Colombo and proceed to Kandy.

  • En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, the world’s first and only elephant orphanage.

    • Established in 1975, it houses elephants orphaned or displaced due to development or injuries.

    • Witness elephants being fed milk and bathed in the nearby river – a heartwarming sight.

  • Check-in and relax at your hotel.

  • Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 2: Kandy City Tour & Cultural Show

 

  • After breakfast, begin your Kandy city tour.

    • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and sacred Buddhist temple.

    • Explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, home to 147 acres of flora including a famous orchid collection.

    • Enjoy a cultural dance performance in the evening.

Day 3: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (Tea Country)

 

  • After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya.

  • En route, visit:

    • Ramboda Hanuman Temple

    • Ramboda Waterfalls

    • Tea Factory & Tea Plantation – learn about Ceylon tea production and enjoy a fresh cup.

  • In the evening, enjoy a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka’s scenic hill resort with a British colonial charm.

    • Visit Sitha Amman Temple, Gregory Lake, and the town center.

  • Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya – Bentota (via Turtle Hatchery)

 

  • After breakfast, proceed to Bentota, a beautiful beach town.

  • En route, visit the Turtle Hatchery Farm in Kosgoda, dedicated to sea turtle conservation.

  • Check-in and relax by the beach.

  • Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 5: Bentota – Madu River Safari & Leisure

 

  • After breakfast, enjoy a Madu River boat ride.

    • Explore 64 small islands, mangrove forests, and the unique “Satha Paha Doowa” shrine.

    • A peaceful and scenic experience, with a chance to see wildlife (including crocodiles – caution advised).

Day 6: Bentota – Colombo City Tour & Shopping

    • Galle Face Green

    • Pettah Bazaar

    • Colombo Museum

    • BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall)

    • Parliament of Sri Lanka in Sri Jayawardenepura

  • Time for shopping at local malls or markets.

  • Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 7: Departure

 

  • After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
